Data Framework
Privacy Policy
Kalaqaar curates talent, not user data. Our data practices are strictly meant to facilitate bookings, coordinate logistics, and verify professionals.
Our Core Promise
Kalaqaar expressly does not sell your personal event data, phone numbers, or email addresses to third parties, advertising networks, or lead-generation brokers.
1. What Data Do We Collect?
- Phone Number (OTP Verification): Used to prevent spam and link your bookings securely in our app.
- Email: Required for sending formal booking confirmations, tax invoices, and legal receipts.
- Event Details: Venue addresses, timeframes, budgets, and specific technical riders or mood-boards you upload.
- KYC Data (For Suppliers): Artists, Vendors, and Partners must submit PAN and GST documents for statutory tax deduction and verification purposes through our Cashfree Identity gateway.
2. How Do We Use It?
- Curation & Matching: Your exact location, budget, and taste profiles allow our human-in-the-loop operations team to hand-pick your top 3 talent matches.
- Payment Protection: We use your contact data to securely route escrow links via our payment gateway (Cashfree). Kalaqaar never stores raw credit card details natively.
- On-Ground Coordination: Limited event details are shared securely with the assigned, verified supplier strictly for logistics planning (arriving at the venue, load-specs).
3. Data Deletion Rights
Clients may request full profile deletion by emailing privacy@kalaqaar.com. Our systems will permanently anonymize your user records.
Note for Artists/Vendors: Certain historical booking data and KYC metadata must be retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax (GST/TDS) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) audit laws governing digital payouts and commissions.
