Kalaqaar curates talent, not user data. Our practices are 100% compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. Data is stored strictly within the MeitY-compliant asia-south1 (Mumbai) region.
Zero-Brokerage Data Promise
Kalaqaar expressly does not sell your personal event data, phone numbers, or email addresses to third parties, advertising networks, or lead-generation brokers.
1. Selective Collection
We collect strictly what is necessary for curation and compliance. For clients, this includes contact details and event specifics. For verified partners, artists, and vendors, we collect government-issued identifiers (PAN, Aadhaar), bank account details for settlements, and voluntary e-Shram UANs to support social welfare alignment.
2. Secure Processing Protocol
Your location and event profiles allow our team to hand-pick your top talent matches. Sensitive identity and banking documents are encrypted at rest and in transit, and processed via our secure, PCI-DSS compliant partner (Cashfree Payments). We do not store raw Aadhaar numbers or bank passwords.
3. Data Deletion & Erasure
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to correction, completion, and erasure of your data. Users may request full profile deletion by emailing privacy@kalaqaar.com. Records are permanently anonymized, subject to statutory 7-year retention for financial audit logs.
