These Terms define the relationship between you and Kalaqaar. Please read them carefully before using our managed curation services.
Standard 10% platform fee applies to all managed bookings.
18% GST applies to the platform fee. Artist fees are subject to their specific registration.
Payments route through Cashfree. Funds are protected until event completion.
1% TDS is statutorily deducted under Sec 194O of the Income Tax Act from all supplier payouts.
A booking is formally confirmed only after the required advance payment is successfully processed and Kalaqaar issues an official confirmation code. Discussions or curated shortlists do not guarantee talent availability.
Kalaqaar operates as a digital platform aggregator under the Code on Social Security, 2020. For individual freelancers and gig workers, Kalaqaar facilitates compliance with national databases (including the e-Shram portal) to support eligibility for national social security welfare schemes.
Artists must honor confirmed bookings. Last-minute cancellations without documented emergencies result in immediate removal from our verified network.
Kalaqaar cannot be held legally liable for the subjective quality of a live performance or venue-induced technical delays. However, we maintain a robust operational escalation matrix to assist in resolving on-ground issues and securing replacement talent.
